3. State four types of keys that can be used in a relation.             (4 marks)
4. Explain the following concepts in relation to databases
5. Briefly describe three reasons for normalizing a database                         (6 marks)
6. Draw an E-R Diagram for Ruiru Hospital that captures the following entities: Patients. Doctors, Assistants and Wards.                                     (5 marks)
7. State three database management systems.                                                 (3 marks)

Question 2 (20 marks)

1. Jack wants to design tables to be used in a given database. Explain three types of entity relationships that he can use in the design. (6 marks)
2. Models are used to represent the architecture of various systems. Discuss four types of database models that can be implemented in database design. (8 marks)
3. State six advantages of a computerized database over the traditional file system.

Question 3 (20 marks)

1. Show, giving appropriate SQL commands, step by _step how you would go about:
2. Creating a database called ZETECH with a table named Employee (attributes: Code, No, Name and Rate) in SQL. (4 Marks)
3. Adding two records in each table.             (4 marks)
