KISM MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION PROCEDURE

 

The Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM)  is established under an Act of Parliament – “The Supplies Practitioners Management Act 2007 (Revised 2012)” with mandate to oversee training, registration, regulation and licensing of supplies practitioners.

Eligibility for KISM Membership is based upon qualifications and work experience in a procurement/supplies field. The Registration fee is as per the category of membership applied for. The Ksh. 500 administration fee is applicable to first time application but not in Annual membership renewals.
Attach the following documents: –

1. Fully filled application form
2. Updated CV
3. Relevant Certificates and transcripts – Procurement/Supplies
4. Form four certificate
5. National ID
6. Payment with proof (Bank slip or MPESA transaction code)

The documents can be sent via post office/courier and also via e-mail by sending all scanned documents to membership@kism.or.ke. The registration approval process takes approximately 30-45 days. We are yet to open up regional offices and thus you can only register at our Nairobi office.

Full member ksh 4,500
Associate member ksh 4,500
Student member ksh 1,500

The payment can be done by Bankers Cheques to Kenya Institute of Supplies Management, Money Order or make a deposit to KISM account No.0102096929100, Standard Chartered Bank, Westlands Branch and send the deposit slip to our office or Mpesa Paybill Number 552500, account name will be your name (do not put space in between the names). Remember to indicate the mpesa reference details on the registration form.
